About the role:


We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chief Operating Officer or COO who has experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a digital marketing agency, as well as making sure that all company goals are being met smoothly. Our ideal candidate is someone who can confidently work in a fast-paced high-growth environment and has strong agency experience with agencies making at least $5M-$10M ARR. We need someone very organized, strong in operations, and who can help to grow and scale our business.

We are looking for the right person to build a long-term relationship with, so you would need to show me what you have done and built in terms of systems and processes for your company.

We have team members worldwide, and you would need to work in the US time zones.

This is a Full-Time Remote position.


Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

  • Directly oversee and grow the different business departments (Sales, Marketing, Ops, Finance, Customer Success, etc.)
  • Identifying and monitoring operations performance with OKR/KPI tracking and establishing corrective measures as needed
  • Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures and policies that promote positive company culture
  • Working with outside vendors/partners as needed communicating with and assisting with client onboarding and concerns as needed
  • Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits
  • Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
  • Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
  • Ensuring effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention

Requirements

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
  • 5-10+ years of experience as Head of Operations, Operations Director or similar leadership role
  • Experience managing a Digital Marketing Agency making at least $5M-$10M ARR.
  • Experience going from a small team to over 100
  • Has the ability to develop and enhance effective agency operational systems, metrics, and processes through data
  • Must be comfortable dealing with issues ranging from the operational level through to executive strategy, as well as interpersonal challenge
  • Data-driven (uses current info/data to improve systems/processes in the business for growth)
  • Comfortable and experienced being part of overall business growth strategy
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume client service-led work environment.
  • High level of accuracy, diligence, and integrity
  • Experience in dealing with client services: project management and client/vendor relationship.
