Individuals within the Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer role work closely with customers and BI Analysts to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.
Here are some of the challenges you’ll face as Business Intelligence Engineer at Poatek:
- Create ETL processes by connecting multiple data sources
- Generating, publishing and creating routines for dashboard updates
- Understanding business requirements and demands and turning this into dashboards
- Establish efficient, automated processes for large-scale models
- Become part of a highly skilled and geographically distributed team
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
Requirements
- A Bachelor and/or Master degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or other related subject
- Strong command of statistical programming languages (especially Python)
- Experience in working with large datasets and relational databases is highly desirable (SQL)
- Strong experience with Pentaho, Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to work on distributed cloud platforms
- Experience working with ETL processes and tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication as well as presentation skill
