We are now seeking a temporary product manager to develop a solution to link LATAM billing pipeline with Sinch’s centralized billing system and platform. The solution includes integrating invoice, local taxations, bank payments and Boleto payment flows with billing system for an automated bookkeeping and month end process. You will drive, build amp; scale the integration flow by working very closely with LATAM Financial teams, multiple engineering teams and other stakeholders to provide a unified customer experience of billing.
Attention: This is a temporary role (6-8 months)
As a product manager, you will:
- Be a part of a focused team which is comprised of LATAM Financial experts, global billing product and engineering teams, Integration Management, regional domain amp; ERP experts to drive the definition and execution of integration solution.
- Be responsible for managing the solution statement, statement of the work, ensuring region specific compliance are followed (like taxation, language etc.), define delivery priorities and deliver a solid and qualitative solution for a fully automated billing process to our customers and billing operations team
- Gather requirements from LATAM financial team, billing operations, sales amp; account managers and LATAm Tax team on what helps doing the billing a better experience and validate those inputs via proper product management practices in all entities we operate on.
- Oversee and maintain a deep, detailed, and prioritized product backlog for an engineering team, driving towards a well-defined vision and specific goals/metrics
- Work closely with our Payment amp; Billing Product teams, supplying the data for bookkeeping to help them in further automating the billing and payment flows
- Build strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and leaders within our group to ensure alignment and buy-in on the requirements and prioritization of product ideas
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager ideally with domain expertise on billing, Payments, or other relevant areas.
- Must have experience in NetSuite ERP system, integration APIs and the process
- Must have experience in Boleto payment process and integrating with external system/vendors
- Must be fluent in Portuguese and English languages as the key members and stakeholders are around the globe. Spanish will be a plus.
- Technical background as a developer and/or architect or similar area from a tech company
- Experience in building and designing complex software flows and understanding cross functional implications (product, finance, analytics etc.)
- Curiosity and are data-driven with the ability to develop and defend strong points-of-view with data and analytics
- Able to articulate and present to different working levels across the organization from management to the engineers
- Ability to break down complex requirements and simplify them for customer adaptation
- Experience with agile development and methodologies
