As ROR Developer you will be a key contributor to the modernization of a real-time property management platform Integrations capability. Working alongside Product Managers and other Engineers you will help advance us along our technology roadmap, leveraging your expertise in building integrations with our partner platforms. You'll work with a passionate and top-performing team to develop extraordinary mobile and cloud solutions for inspecting, managing, and monitoring multifamily residential properties and commercial facilities. Requirements
Do you have excellent knowledge of test-driven development, domain-driven development, design patterns, debugging both Ruby and JavaScript, and domain modeling / application architecture? This is the job for you!!
In your day-to-day you will participate in customer interviews, scoping and prioritization of work, and improving team development practices.
Must-haves:
- Ruby on Rails / 3+ years of experience working in production Rails applications across all layers of the stack
- Relational database (preferably PostgreSQL) experience, including the understanding of database indices and performance tuning
- JavaScript or TypeScript / 1+ year of experience
- Automated testing (we use RSpec)
- Experience integrating with 3rd-party APIs
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with TailwindCSS
- Experience with ViewComponent
- Experience with Stimulus
