About the Role
The role of the Senior Content Manager (Full Time Permanent Contract) will be to contribute in coordinating demands and flows of work for the social media team in Brazil, working in tandem with other departments (Editorial, Creative, Client Management, Project Management, etc.) to achieve our objectives regarding our portfolio of local and global clients and also to help in the ideation and implementation of social media strategies for said clients on different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) on a variety of relevant KPIs (engagement rates, community building, etc.). Community management background will be a contributing factor.
Responsibilities
- Strategic social content planning, including the creation of content roadmaps and calendars;
- Coordination of demands that come from Project Management to the Social Content Team;
- Development of social media strategies (content, paid media, etc.) with support from Creative and Paid Media departments;
- Production of periodical data driven reports with support from other relevant departments
- Monitoring and Social Listening
- Copywriting for unfolding campaigns
The Senior Content Manager will be comfortable in the measurement of content performance and have a tangible approach to proving the value of a range of contentled activity, tying it back to overarching client objectives. They will be passionate about all things content-related, with a strong knowledge of social media ecosystems.
Requirements
What you’ll need
- Experience in social media environment (copywriting, monitoring, ideation, campaigns, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools such as Buzzmonitor, Tagger and Meta Business Suite;
- Collaborating with agency teams to develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies that involve social media as a core component. You will be expected to work closely with a broad spectrum of agency teams, in particular our Creative, Project Management, Client Management, Data and Media specialists;
- Ideation and content creation for social media projects/campaigns;
- Copywriting, proofing and quality assurance
- Visual assets management and quality assurance
- Attending key internal amp; client-facing meetings and positioning yourself as one of the team authorities, translating meeting outcomes into actionable next steps;
- Excellent ability to analyse and gather insights for creation;
- Heavy User of social networks, tuned into the main trends and conversations;
Core Departmental Responsibilities:
- Informal mentorship around the subject of social media content, as/when required, across the department and agency;
- Identifying when team members are struggling in their understanding/delivery of tasks and either providing them with the support they require or finding an appropriate member of staff to do so;
- Thought-leadership and regular contribution to internal knowledge-shares, the company blog, training sessions, trade press and occasional external industry events;
- Process review and development, with regular contribution to the Capability’s product development roadmap;
- Assisting in the accurate scheduling of monthly activity and reviewing progress throughout the month;
- Accurate time-tracking and time logging.
