The Role

We are in search of an HR Business Partner - LATAM to help take our People team in Latin America to the next level. We’re not your typical HR team, and the HR Manager will be key in making that felt throughout Jellysmack. You’ll have the unique opportunity to be our first team member representing the People Team in Latin America. No pressure. You’ll be the main point of contact for People topics - including: Onboarding/Offboarding, Benefits, Payroll, Employee Relations, Office Management, and a Culture Champion. But that’s not all. The Responsibilities

  • Hiring, Onboarding and Offboarding: Ensure a smooth process for the entire cycle of hiring, onboarding, and offboarding. Regardless if the team member is coming or leaving for another opportunity, you’ll be critical in ensuring they have the best experience possible.
  • Payroll and Benefits - Support Team Members who have questions related to Payroll and Benefits.
  • Partnership to Hiring Managers: Partner in implementing organizational talent planning and talent acquisition strategies
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Partner with leaders to ensure Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging isn’t an HR topic - everyone plays a part
  • People Processes and Policies: Ensure Managers and Team Members understand internal processes and programs, Support performance management of the team, and manage employee relations, when necessary
  • Office Management: Act as the boots on the ground should any needs arise that require an in-person presence.
  • Culture Champion: Team building activities, goodies to develop pod community feeling, etc

Requirements

A Little About You

  • You have 7+ years of experience in human resources, organizational development, or other related fields
  • You have experience in digital medial and or technology, a plus
  • You are fluent in English - required
  • You have the ability to position yourself as credible (garners respect, acts with integrity, keeps commitments); proactive (has a point of view, challenges assumptions, takes initiative); and a trusted thought partner (builds relationships, delivers results).
  • You have prior experience working in a fast paced environment in a period of hyper growth
  • You have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • You have the ability to adapt and tailor communication style for your audience
  • You thrive in a work from home environment
  • You have a strong work ethic to work independently with a desire to learn, grow and own projects/tasks
  • You have a tremendous sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • You have the ability to have fun in whatever you do
