Department Clinical Training Supervisor Clinical Training Program Manager Approximate Hours/Week: Full-Time 37.5hrs/wkRequired On-Site 30 to 37.5 hrs Salary Grade $40.79-$49.85Will I be a Supervisor in this role? NoAm I required to drive? Yes, this role will be training staff at various PPRM Locations and will need to be able to drive to and from locations.
The Objective: This person will be responsible for supporting the APC Training program. They will support the Clinical Training Program Manager and Clinical Training Team in the evaluation, development and delivery of APC training. This person will be a clinical trainer (elbow to elbow) for PPRM advanced practice nurses, physician assistants and physicians who are acting as clinicians in PPRM health centers approximately 85% of the time. Success:You will know you are successful when APCs are onboarded and productive in their own health centers within the assigned timelines. APC trainees will report superb training and onboarding experience and our patients will have access across our system.Snapshot:This person will be utilized as a clinical trainer (elbow to elbow) for PPRM advanced practice nurses, physician assistants and physicians who are acting as clinicians in PPRM health centers. They will be assigned to train new clinicians to PPRM and to ensure privileging and competence and will have direct patient care component each month. Hours for direct care to be determined based on need and budget. When not training this person will be updating training materials, attending team meetings, or managing training tracking documentation. This person can expect frequent travel to meet the training needs of PPRM.
Qualifications: Current Colorado state licensure, if an internal hire Level 2clinician or above, 3-5 years of experience in Women’s Health. Ability to become licensed in all the states where PPRM has health centers. Supports the Clinical Training Program Manager in the maintenance, development and delivery of training programs and content as needed. Supports the Clinical Training Program Manager and Health Center Managers in the creation of training schedules. Provides administrative support and logistics for training programs. Ability to travel by plane and/or car to all PPRM health centers as needed. Demonstrated record of excellent clinical judgment. Comfort working within a protocol-based clinical care system. Extensive knowledge of PPRM’s Medical Standards and Guidelines preferred Experience working as an APN II or III within PPRM or other PP affiliate is preferred Able to travel as required. Valid driver’s license and insurance required.Key Approaches to the Work:Language and Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong relationship building/interpersonal skills; capable of relating to individuals at all levels. Ability to effectively build rapport with employees in our diverse regional communities. Ability to explain complex information in clear and understandable terms. Must be able to maintain high standards of confidentiality and practice ethical communication. Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of the PPRM electronic health record. Ability to use MS Office suite, especially Word and Excel.Other: Must show initiative and be a pro-active problem solver. Must be able to think critically about programs and make sound judgement calls. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required. Strong organizational skills and the ability Must be a team player. Must be able to manage a training schedule and take direction and feedback well
