Job Description
Comparamais is an online comparison site that helps consumers find the best rates for energy, telco and banking products in Portugal. The founding team have extensive experience in comparison businesses and the company is now owned by Lendo Group, one of Europe's largest fintech groups. As a result, we are looking to significantly grow our Portuguese business and are looking to make key appointments to the team.
The Product Manager contributes to the success of the team by managing the overall product lifecycle setting the strategic vision and product roadmap based on market research and testing, defining requirements, collaborating with design, and working closely with development to implement, A/B test, measure, refine and deploy new features. The successful candidate will serve as customer expert combining industry analysis, end-user feedback, and site usage data to establish a product vision, solution roadmap, and an effective engineering partnership to deliver the best experience for comparing and applying for products.
As a product manager at Comparamais, your main goal is business impact. You will help answer questions like:
- How should we improve our acquisition funnel?
- Is our product helping users select the best contract for energy and the best personal loans?
- How do we ensure we have the best product in the market?
- How are users browsing our site and where are they abandoning?
- What are the trade-offs we face when choosing between speed and features? How should we decide between them?
- How do we prioritise our product backlog to achieve business success?
- How will a change in the user interface affect customer choice behaviour?
Requirements
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Product Management experience in a digitally enabled company (consumer internet business is a big plus)
- Demonstrated ability to design solutions to complex problems whilst acknowledging risks and constraints
- Experience with UI/UX design, usability and A/B testing to drive improvement in customer experience and business results
- Proficient in interpreting data to drive insights on users or platform behaviours
- Experience with customer centricity and voice of the customer programs
- Demonstrated experience in adopting product management best practices, standards, and policies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High level of initiative and desire to create a world-class user experience for customers
- Great team-player who builds constructive and collaborative relationships with others
- Excellent spoken English (essential) amp; Portuguese (desirable)
- Knowledge of software development languages
- Experience of working in a technology enabled business
