Aquiris is looking for a Head of Product to join our team. In this position you will manage the company's portfolio strategy and partner with the marketing/publishing and development teams to launch and operate the games during their entire life cycle. You’ll drive monetization strategy, market benchmarking and setting KPIs. You will also lead a product team to successfully execute on each of the company’s games.
Responsibilities:
- Own the company’s portfolio strategy, including the planning of upcoming products and managing the performance of existing games;
- Define the strategy of each of the company’s products, including monetization, and be accountable for the results;
- Guide a team of PMs to execute on the strategy of each game;
- Provide market benchmarking to ground the direction of each of the company’s products;
- Define what are the KPIs and how they will drive product decisions;
- Monitor the portfolio KPIs;
- Oversee the career development and performance of the product team;
- Provide ROI and business cases around each product direction;
- Analyze and synthesize direct competitors;
- Drive user test sessions, collect feedback and apply relevant changes to the strategy of the products;
- Work with the publishing and marketing teams on how to best present products to the audience.
Requirements
- Know-how with data analysis tools;
- In-depth understanding of the gaming industry, platforms, and ecosystems;
- Proven expertise in building relationships with internal and external partners;
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills;
- Strong people skills and deep comfort in managing through influence and indirect authority with the ability to inspire others;
- Confident team lead who is comfortable setting directions;
- Experience working with agile methodologies; using industry-standard project management tools;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in Brazilian Portuguese and English.
Previous Experience:
- 8+ years of professional experience as a product manager in digital products;
- Management of the full life cycle of 2+ games or high profile apps, from concept to release, in the role of product manager, game producer, or game designer.
