C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance
• Implement third-party integrations varying from Web APIs to hardware SDKs
• Redesign legacy applications utilizing modern and highly maintainable technologies
• Gather a deep understanding about both the technical and business aspects of the project
• Own and maintain applications, providing ongoing support throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

• Solid experience in C/C++ development
• Experience with TCP/IP, network protocols, multi-threading and system calls
• Experience with relational databases (preferred MySQL)
• Good knowledge of object-oriented development, data structures, system design, and algorithms
• Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate complex problems
• Flexibility to work between legacy and modern technologies
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Great communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts in English

Nice to have:

• Experience working with MFC or related C++ UI framework
• Experience with Continuous integration
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process
• Good understanding of code versioning tools (preferred Git)
• Knowledge in RESTful applications and Web Services
