PT-BR Proofreader/Reviewer

Life.io is looking for a PT-BR proofreader/reviewer (native Brazilian Portuguese speaker) to help us launch the PT-BR version of our holistic well-being rewards platform. We are seeking a detail-oriented copy editor with experience reviewing translated material. This role will work closely with the PT-BR transcreator and Content Director to review and correct Life.io’s library of health, mental health, and financial well-being content for a Brazilian audience. This person may also assist in translating email communications, on-platform copy, and other content initiatives as needed. This will be an hourly, part-time contract position.

Requirements

• Excellent copy-editing/proofreading skills.
• Enthusiastic reader/reviewer of health and financial well-being topics. We need someone who can catch localization and linguistic issues as well as typos or grammatical errors.
• Native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese. Based in Brazil preferred.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in translation, especially of literature, journalism, or lifestyle topics.
• Tech-savvy. You’re as comfortable working in content management systems and prototypes as document formats.
