banQi/Airfox is looking for a talented Front-End Software Engineer to be a key member of a close-knit agile team that builds the platform for our fintech mobile application. You will help implement the platform for banQi’s new products and financial innovations.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Front Reactive/Native development
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or applicable work experience
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, React, React Native
• Good understanding of TDD and BDD
• Client-side experience implementing micro front-end architecture.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
• Excellent communication skills; feels comfortable working with non-technical business partners
• Background in banking or other financial businesses a big plus
• Working proficiency in Portuguese and English
