RecargaPay is the Super App that simplifies everyday payments for consumers and SMEs in Brazil.
The platform streamlines payments for over 6 million Brazilians by consolidating credit and debit cards, instant payments like Pix, and Open Finance, on a mission to democratize mobile payments and financial services in Brazil.
Featuring services such as bill payments, mobile top-ups, public transportation, installment plans, and loans, designed with convenience, low cost and flexibility in mind. RecargaPay is changing the way both banked and unbanked Brazilians make their everyday payments and access their financial services.
Tech Leaders are recognized not only as a technical leaders but also as a crucial figure in people management and project oversight. This role involves a blend of technical acumen and strong leadership in managing teams and driving project success.
Responsibilities:- Establishes team objectives and project goals, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- Oversees and leads a team of engineers, ensuring project deliverables are met within deadlines and budgets.
- Actively involved in recruiting, training, and developing team members, fostering a productive and growth-oriented environment.
- Collaborates with other technical leaders to align technology strategies with company goals, contributing to the overall technical direction.
- Effectiveness in setting and achieving clear team objectives and project milestones.
- Leadership in guiding the team towards successful project delivery, within time and budget constraints.
- Success in recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineering talent within the team.
- Contribution to the alignment of technology strategies with broader company objectives.
Requirements
- BSc/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines;
- Experience in practical engineering functions;
- Experience in team leadership;
- A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management and development best practices;
- Knowledge of Domain Oriented Design.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture is an advantage;
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and master various web technologies and techniques;
- Proven ability to design complex distributed applications designed for high performance and throughput, while being scalable and reliable;
- Development experience using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka and AWS;
- Experience with asynchronous programming;
- Proven experience in profiling and performance tuning Java applications and using monitoring tools to monitor production applications.
