As a Visual Designer at Brightscout, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual narrative of diverse projects, including website design, mobile app aesthetics, and digital branding initiatives. Design Execution

• Craft innovative visual design solutions for a variety of digital projects, such as website interfaces, mobile applications, and digital marketing assets.
• Generate impactful illustrations and visualizations that enhance storytelling, communicate complex ideas simply, and engage users emotionally.
• Translate brand strategies and user requirements into visually appealing designs that provide an intuitive user experience.
• Collaborate with UX designers, project managers, and developers to ensure visual designs are in harmony with usability, accessibility standards, and web technologies.
• Keep up with industry trends and advancements in design tools, integrating new techniques and software to maintain leading-edge visual output.

Brand Consistency

• Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms, maintaining a cohesive visual language that adheres to brand guidelines.
• Aid in the development and refinement of brand guidelines, including typography, color schemes, iconography, and imagery standards.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work in close partnership with project teams to conceptualize and implement designs that meet project objectives and timelines.

• Showcase a robust portfolio with a broad spectrum of digital design work, highlighting illustrations, web, mobile, and branding projects.
• Demonstrate expertise in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Procreate and Figma.
• Understand design principles, typography, color theory, and a knack for clearly communicating complex stories through visual design.
• Manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively, able to articulate design concepts and strategies to diverse team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

Professional Experience and Skills

• +5 years of experience in visual design, with a focus on digital mediums.
• A compelling portfolio that evidences your ability in creating visually engaging digital designs and storytelling through illustrations and visualizations.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools relevant to contemporary digital design practices.
• Knowledgeable in illustration, branding and interface design principles, enhancing collaboration across the team.
