RecargaPay is the Super App that simplifies everyday payments for consumers and SMEs in Brazil.
The platform streamlines payments for over 6 million Brazilians by consolidating credit and debit cards, instant payments like Pix, and Open Finance, on a mission to democratize mobile payments and financial services in Brazil.
Featuring services such as bill payments, mobile top-ups, public transportation, installment plans, and loans, designed with convenience, low cost and flexibility in mind. RecargaPay is changing the way both banked and unbanked Brazilians make their everyday payments and access their financial services.
As an SRE Technical Lead at RecargaPay, you will be responsible for managing an SRE team, which combines software and systems engineering disciplines to execute high-performance distributed services with a focus on resilience, scalability and greater resource efficiency. In this position you will be deeply involved in the software development process, ensuring the availability and reliability, including fault tolerance of our products and services, thus demanding good leadership, management and negotiation skills with our technical teams. Finally, you'll employ your hands-on experience to optimize and improve the observability, performance, and maintenance of our platforms and stacks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and keep the SRE team engaged and committed to continuous improvement and quality assurance of software and services;
- Organize and plan improvements related to platforms and services, as well as project management;
- Responsible for the process of documentation and dissemination of knowledge to the SRE teams;
- Design, deploy and maintain cloud resources as well as ensure the security and compliance of all components involved;
- Develop high-performance technical solutions and propose automations and services to optimize the software delivery process and quality;
- Contribute with our entire culture of agile development and continuous software delivery in mind;
- Monitor and track indicators of performance, capacity and costs of cloud resources and platforms.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject;
- Detailed technical knowledge of database and Linux operating system, its standards and best practices for keeping services up and running;
- Hands-on experience deploying high availability, auto-scaling stacks on AWS, on top of Kubernetes, EKS, Containers, ECS, CloudFormation, ElasticBeanstalk, etc;
- Experience with network technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools;
- Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols;
- Familiarity with internet web and mobile related technologies (Web applications, Mobile applications, API Oriented Architectures) and of network related protocols;
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques;
- English or Spanish is a plus.
