About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic SEO Backlinking Specialist to join our team. This role involves crafting and implementing strategic link-building initiatives to enhance our website's visibility and rankings on search engines. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of backlinking strategies and exhibit a track record of driving organic traffic through innovative link-building techniques.
This is an Hourly remote position.
Responsibilities (but are not limited to):
- Identify and acquire backlinks from reputable and relevant websites by researching potential link sources, initiating contact with website owners or managers, and negotiating link placements.
- Analyze existing backlink profiles to assess strengths and weaknesses, identify broken links, evaluate backlink quality, and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
- Devise comprehensive strategies for acquiring new backlinks and refining the existing backlink profile. Utilize various tactics like guest blogging, directory submissions, and partnerships to achieve objectives.
- Monitor backlinks for efficacy, tracking their impact on search rankings and website traffic. Generate regular reports to highlight key insights and performance metrics.
- Analyze competitors’ backlink profiles to comprehend their link-building strategies, extract valuable insights, and identify potential opportunities for link acquisition.
- Work closely with the COO to align the link-building strategy with overarching SEO and marketing goals, ensuring synergy across all initiatives.
- Remain abreast of the latest trends and algorithm updates in the SEO landscape, ensuring strategies remain effective and compliant with evolving best practices.
Requirements
- Proven track record as an SEO Backlinking Specialist or similar role, demonstrating successful improvement in organic search rankings through robust link-building strategies.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms for thorough link analysis and research.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to foster relationships with website owners and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data and metrics to drive informed decisions.
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in link building.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
