As a People Operations Payroll Analyst you will
- Precise and timely payroll processing in strict adherence to both internal and legal deadlines.
- Thoroughly ensuring legal compliance in all labor calculations and deductions, maintaining full alignment with prevailing legislation.
- Efficiently handling payroll-related issues, including the comprehensive management of terminations, encompassing severance payments and clearance procedures.
- Maintaining meticulously organized payroll records and all relevant documentation.
- Proficiently overseeing deductions, spanning from emergency loans to health and dental plans, and various other benefits.
- Providing essential support in the management of Occupational Health and Safety programs, which includes Risk Management Programs, Occupational Health Medical Control Programs (PCMSO), and Technical Analysis of Occupational Hazards (LTCAT).
- Carefully scrutinizing time and attendance data, while vigilantly monitoring banked hours balances, thus effectively identifying areas of non-compliance.
- Actively contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, under the guidance of the People Manager.
- Swiftly flagging problems or potential risks that could lead to financial losses or staff discontent.
- Collaborating effectively and providing support in matters of discipline and complaints, thereby indicating when active listening processes are required.
- Participating in audits as and when requested by department superiors.
- Ensuring utmost confidentiality and the safeguarding of departmental information, including benefits verification and monitoring health plan continuation requests.
- Contribution to work planning, including support for budgetary planning and internal communication of approved work plans.
- Ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and promptly alerting the People Manager to any potential accounting and labor risks.
- Preparation and review of financial reports related to payroll, alongside overseeing the hiring process of legal entities.
Requirements
- Academic Background and Technical Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting.
- 6 years of experience in the Payroll Analyst role or a similar position.
- Languages: Advanced English.
- Proficient in computer skills and the use of relevant software and other applications, e.g., word processing, financial report generation, database management, and internet usage.
