Job Description

RateHawk is a travel tech company that operates globally and is part of the Emerging Travel Group. Emerging Travel operate several different brands since 2010, and we are a respected and trusted travel company in Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Asia. Currently, we are expanding into the America travel market.

Our goal as a leader in the travel technology industry is to provide travel professionals with the most convenient travel products through creation, distribution, and management. We are always working to improve and expand the travel industry and make it easier for everyone. This includes making travel simpler, more profitable for professionals, and more accessible for individuals.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager in Brazil to execute successful sales strategies and cultivate enduring, mutually beneficial relationships with our South American customers and partners.

What You’ll Do:
  • Champion the full sales life-cycle, from outbound communications, conducting product demos to signing new deals!
  • Actively consolidate, expand and promote our new international project in the new market.
  • Leverage our product and technology to find and develop new relationships with customers, showing them how we can increase their performance and revenue.
  • Our API increases booking/travel efficiencies; find new partners and tell them how!
  • Follow-up with new and existing customers in our portfolio to provide system training and strategically understand what you can do to provide better opportunities and solutions.
  • Build, maintain and improve our strong and long-lasting relationship with the customers in order to increase their performance and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  • Prepare, execute and manage the commercial deals with the partners including the execution of required document flow and technical setup.
  • Control of compliance with commercial conditions by partners including the payment flow.
  • Account management of an assigned portfolio of partners including the first level of support.
  • Provide market amp; competitive environment analysis to assist the company reach the Brazilian territory and be part of our growth.
  • Using data-driven reporting and analysis, increase our reach into the Brazilian travel market.
  • Product presentations amp; networking, as well as controlling payments and providing comprehensive reports

Requirements

Who You Are:
  • Experience relevant to the position. Ideally, 2-5 years of B2B sales experience and country's travel market knowledge, as well as network with travel agencies, OTA's, tour operators, etc.
  • Competency in API integration and technology sales amp; deals.
  • Interpersonal skills relevant to the position. Ambitious and action-oriented professional with a proactive, results-focused mindset who is comfortable with fast-paced business environments. Adept at utilizing cutting-edge technologies and using data-driven decision-making. A team player with a strong appetite for innovation.
  • Results-oriented. You are data-driven and well-versed in metrics and numbers - KPIs.
  • International mindset. Capable of understanding and working across diverse cultural contexts, reflecting ETG's global presence.
  • Be your own CEO. We are looking for individuals who can work independently and have a high degree of accountability.
  • Language proficiency. Proficiency in Portuguese and English (B1/B2) is required, and knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Location. Preferably located in the São Paulo area, Porto Alegre, or the Northeast region, in line with our market strategy. However, we are also open to other locations.
  • Business trips. 20 30% of your time may involve visiting customers or attending events.
