The gigAs a product leader at Q4, you will drive the evolution and adoption of Q4’s Data Platform. This includes building on the business strategy, evangelizing the power of the platform cross-functionally, setting the roadmap, and driving technical and business teams through ambiguity to realize the data platform vision.
Q4’s data platform creates value for our 2,600+ clients. Each quarter, 500,000+ investors attend one of our virtual events and over 12 million investors interact with our clients on our platform. We collect and analyze millions of touch point and investment decisions. We use this information to power our products and provide C-level executives of public companies with unique insights on the markets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and mature the data platform business strategy, roadmap and execution
  • Mentor and coach a team of experienced product managers
  • Delight customers during go to market in partnership across Q4 teams and help with change management ensuring successful product launches
  • Define, track, and improve key product metrics to maximize performance, adoption, and scale
  • Develop an understanding of complex data sets and how they can be linked and leveraged to solve problems for customers and the business (e.g. contacts, ownership, behavioural)
  • Negotiate with engineering teams to prioritize and shape data platform improvements that create real business value
  • Assess existing and potential solutions (data storage, processing and analytics)
  • Partner with product leads of data consuming/contributing applications in diverse areas (e.g. CRM, events, website hosting, market insights)
  • Advance the data governance practices
  • Evolve data monitoring and observability practices
  • Enable business teams to self-serve across data domains with analytics/visualization tools

Essential Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience driving the vision, roadmap, and execution of an early stage data platform
  • Experience working with Business, Engineering, Architecture and Product partners to develop a strategy and roadmap to help solve customer problems and speed up our growth
  • A deep understanding of the capital markets and our customers that can be leveraged to identify opportunities for data usage in products
  • Proven track record of delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate with application product managers to build amazing insights, products and features with our data in a manner that builds trust with our customers and the capital markets.
  • Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members
