We are looking for a Legal Specialist to join our team, performing a support role in elaborating legal contracts. An organized, communicative, proactive person who is willing to protect the company's interests, which impacts the whole Axur team. And you can choose whether you will work in the office, in Porto Alegre-RS, or remotely.
A typical workday might include:
- Elaborating legal contracts, amendments, and other related documentation, ensuring that they are clear, accurate, and comprehensive;
- Thoroughly reviewing and analyzing complex contracts to identify risks, issues, and inadequate clauses;
- Identifying legal risks and providing proactive solutions to minimize legal exposures;
- Negotiating contractual terms and conditions with external partners, suppliers, and customers to protect the company's interests;
- Interpreting contract clauses and providing legal guidance to the sales team and other involved parties;
- Conducting legal research to keep up-to-date on laws, regulations, and best practices related to software contracts;
- Collaborating with internal departments such as Finance, Sales, and Human Resources to ensure compliance and consistency of contracts;
- Monitoring compliance with contract terms and taking appropriate action in the event of a contract violation;
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of all contracts and related documentation;
- Providing legal advice on issues related to intellectual property, data protection, and other relevant legal areas;
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all legal activities and company processes.
Requirements
Indispensable Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Law;
- Proven experience as a Contract Legal Specialist, Legal Counsel, or in similar positions with expertise in commercial contracts;
- Thorough knowledge of contract-related laws, regulations, and best practices;
- Advanced legal drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail;
- Strong analytical skills to identify risks, problems, and inappropriate clauses in contracts;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- Experience dealing with international contracts;
- Experience in technology companies.
- English proficiency;
- Spanish proficiency;
- Working knowledge of legal software and contract management.
